Abolish

The police 

can’t be 

                        reformed 

anymore

than their guns 

can be 

                        unfired.

A Mirror and A Knife

The pandemic

like all oppression

still unfolding

not equally felt

a mirror and a knife

reflects, deepens

divides carved

long before

a virus arrived.
